His music career spans more than 25 years of countless chart-topping smash hits, and he is considered one of the most prominent composers of contemporary Arabic music. Contributing to the rise of many leading Arab artists from the 1990s until today's contemporary newcomers, he cites Wadee' El Safi, Sabah, Fairouz, Mohammed Abdul Wahab, & Said Darwish as his influences.
